Georges Laraque vs Donald Brashear

This may be fight of the year now, with Penguins' Georges Laraque and Capitals' Donald Brashear dropping the gloves and dropping each other on the ice. What a fight they had tonight and I would give the edge to Brashear in this one, but I've been thinking this may be a draw. If the linesmen came in after Laraque knocked down Brashear twice, wouldn't Laraque get the win? But they didn't and Brashear knocked down Laraque with a punch and then the linesmen came in. Laraque got right back up so he wasn't hurt from it. So what would you call it? Who gets the win? Leave a comment on what you think. Watch the fight below, courtesy of a member on hockeyfights.com.

Below is another version of the fight, slightly different camera angle to watch the punches fly.

They are both lefties; these commentators don't know that? Are you kidding me? If you don't know that two of the premier heavyweights in the NHL are lefty fighters, time to pack it in a get a job bagging groceries.

Idiots

How could you possibly give this fight to Brashear? After witnessing it LIVE and then watching on video, you have to be kidding? 13-4 in punches and all of Laraques were solid...Obviously you aren't a fan of the "Sweet Science" and this definitely was a Laraque victory.

first off.. they both had 1 takedown.. second of all.. laraque landed more punches.. about 9 to brashear's 1 and 1/2.. the "knockdown" punch, if you watch it in slow motion, is a forearm that brashear missed on.. laraque clearly wins.. lets get a true boxing judge to decide this one..

Laraque was cleaning the floor with Brashear...I think he let him come out alive from this one......but props to Brash for taking those hits and still come back.

Laraque mopped the ice with Brashear. Good to see him in the bleu blanc et rouge. Try running Price now Philly.
